Proud Mama Moment--Go B go!
We had our first soccer game and it went splendid! Despite the fact that our team lost, we still had the bestest time watching the kiddos and seeing them swarm around the ball. My Wonderboy even managed to score a goal! But what made this Momma proud was the teamwork of this little group of bees. They all gave their best and they tried so hard to get the ball.
Of course the funny moment that all parents have to face was seen--you know it, the moment where all the kids swarm around the ball and they score--except they score on the wrong side of the field. But, even that didn't stop all the fun we were all having--parents and children were all excitedly screaming encouragement to all the little ones. For many, this is their first time playing as part of a team so for most of the parents this is a big deal. For us--one of the best family moments ever! Check my boyo in action!
This is the very moment when I wish I had my dream camera...my camera stinks when it comes time to shoot many frames in a few seconds. Kimmy send me your camera for a couple of months...or better yet, hop on that private plane and come take some professional pics for me :).
On the knitting front--let's not go there. Let's just say that my Rusted Root is not even half-way there and my other two projects: one is done and the other had to get frogged. I have until the end of this month to complete them.

Goooooooooooooo Bryant!

How fun! My husband is coaching my 5 yr old daughters soccer team this spring but they have had to cancel the first 2 practices because of SNOW!!! Hopefully it warms up because I can not wait to see them play!

Yay Wonderboy! You run just as fast as your Uncle Spencer:) Happy early Anniversary to you and Sam! I remember it well since Spencer proposed the day before. I'm sending you some knitting energy so you can finish that cute top in time to wear it tomorrow!

Little one is so precious! I love the picture of him sitting on the soccer ball - angel face.
Don't do any house work today, except feeding the family. Get busy on your Rusted Root. You deserve to have something special for your special day. Take some ME time for yourself. Now GO!

Oh how cute! Congratulations to Wonderboy for scoring his first (of many, I'm sure) goals! I have no doubt Momma was up and cheering her heart out. Makes me remember the days of t-ball and little league. Such precious memories!
Now, get going on that Rusted Root! You deserve some time to kick back, relax and enjoy yourself.

Mr. Wonderboy is absolutely adorable sitting on that soccer ball! That's one of those great pictures you give to his wife on their wedding day (many years down the road, of course!) He looks like he's having a great time playing, and thanks for sharing the pictures with us in blogland.

I too put my looms away for football, so I know the feeling ;)
Saturdays and Sundays, husband and I sit in front of the tele and watch the Barclays league. I just cannot knit and keep an eye on the game. Guess I'm not that coordinated yet, hee!

How exciting...Wonderboy's first soccer game of the season! It's wonderful that everyone had a great time. I loved playing sports when I was younger...it was always so much fun being on a team!

Haha, no, I think these are really cute pictures! You're doing just fine. :) I love the one with him sitting on the soccerball! I can't believe he is old enough to be on a soccer team--just crazy how time flies!
All the same, I will definitely come take some pictures for you the next time I'm in Logan. I will take any chance I can get to take pictures of someone besides just Matthew, haha!
