Book Blog tour victims/hostesses

A little while ago, I asked if any of you would be interested in hosting a blog tour of my little booklet, Learn to Knit Cables on Looms, some of you were interested and at the time I hadn't received the complimentary copies of the booklet, but I have them now.

If you are interested in hosting a little blog book tour, (both looming and needle knit blogs are eligible :) ). Drop me a comment. I will send a copy of the booklet to 10 blog tour hostesses for a brief review and you are welcome to ask me questions and I'll answer to the best of my abilities. Drop me a comment...down there.

Drop me a comment anyways even if you don't want to participate...I am craving comments! Okay, I am feeling miserable and down and I need some TLC.

If you are wondering why I feel miserable and sad: the DVD in my TV is broken :(. It keeps spitting the DVDs out. So, I am either going to have to fork out some money for a separate DVD player or probably spend money fixing the internal one.

Note: I will choose 10 from all the names that leave a comment on this post by Wednesday (1/23) at 7am.

I would love to!

Let me know what I need to do :)

God bless

oh, about the DVD player...

I've 'been there' with my wee ones, and they are now 12 & 13......and there are days I miss them walking on my toes like that, you know?

I hope it's not too expensive to fix whatever they did.....maybe you could banter with someone that could fix it & trade for what you can craft??? That way it won't be too expensive??

I don't know.I just wanted to send you (((hugs)))

Sending some TLC your way from Texas:) I'm so sorry about your DVD player, I hope you are able to get it fixed soon!

Oh! ME, ME, ME!!! Please?

I wish I knew how to fix tvs. I'd drive right over. ((more hugs))

Well, since your blog and your first book inspired me to pick up some looms of my own, and I ADORE cables, I'd love to check out the booklet and review it on my blog.

And I am sorry about the dvd player. Eons ago, I had a tv/vcr that started eating tapes, so I feel your pain.

I would love to try out the booklet!

Sorry to hear about the DVD. {{{Isela}}}

I can do a review. I ordered the booklet from Sam last week.

OOOH! OOOH! ME! PICK ME! Don't forget to let me know about the other thing. A basic DVD player can be as cheap as $30 now. It's not that bad.

What are you looking for in a reviewer? I have a loom set but have never done much with it. I would be interested if I qualify to do what you need me to.

How about a talkcast stop on your tour??? hmmm.....
Man I know how you feel!! My cd player in my van has been out of commission for a VERY long time.. there's a penny in it! AHH!

Now Isela,
You know we all love you dearly. Your knitting and family stories all keep us going. If all we can do is give a hug back, then here's my hug for you (((())))

Well, I already have purchased the booklet as I am so going to make that wrap! I have looked over the pattern and it doesn't seem difficult. I of course will blog about the process of knitting it on my blog as well as Ravelry!

Just let me know if you want me to do anything specific and I will!

::::::raising hand::::::::waving it::::::::
Me, me, me!! I want to try it! As a very new beginner to circle looms, I think I might be a good one to try it and review it for other newbies!

I would love to help promote your new book by taking part in a book blog tour.

And sorry to hear about your tv/dvd problem. Wish I knew something to help on that.

I am sorry that I do not post comments more often. I read every post that you write. I am trying to help my little girls learn to knit with the looms that I have.I would love to learn how to do cables on the loom.

I have your new cable book, but haven't had time to look through it yet. I don't have a blog so won't be able to review it though. Hope your DVD player is repaired or replaced soon. I know your kiddos also miss it. My granddaughter will watch the same Blues Clue, Dora or Barney video over & over. Linda

How's about a guy reviewer?

Here's some comment love.

I'm so sorry about the TV/DVD. But think of it this way, at least it wasn't the other way around and it broke your kids!

Aw, Isela, I'm sorry it looks like your DVD player on your TV is a broken. I know that is disappointing. I hope that it gets fixed or worked out the best way possible for you.

I'm excited about your book. I love knitting cables in big chunky yarns. I haven't gotten to sit down with my looms in a while.

Feel better, hun!

Sorry to hear about you DVD, remember you love them. I would like to try it, I love the way cables make a garment stand out.

I'm so sorry about your tv ... gotta love the little ones, though, even when they're a pain in the you-know-what.

I'm not a knitting blog (more a food blog with crafting asides), but I'd love to do a review for you ... loom knitting is the only way I've found that I can actually knit and get something to look like it's supposed to (how sad is that?). Though I'm planning to order your book in any case. :-)

Oh, Isela...I'm so extremely sorry about your TV...I know what it's like to have one of your favorites bite the dust through no fault of your own. Kiddos...you've gotta luv em! :)

Well, as you already know, I have your book and LOVE IT! I've already talked about it here and there, but if you'd like a formal review I'd be so happy to oblige!

My advice for the pain...dress the kids up really cute, in your favorite clothes, their hair done just so...and take them and yourself out for some really gooey, chocolatey ice-cream. You'll forget all about it! I read in a vintage Parents Magazine (from the 1920's!) that when you are totally fed up with your children and have no patience left, to clean them up, dress them up, make them look Sunday School sweet, and you'll feel so much better. My husband and I thought this was such a crock...until we tried it...and it worked! Go figure. ;)

I would love to win a copy!

I have been fighting with some of the different stitches on looms for a little bit,, but would welcome a really good fight at learning cables! LOL.

I would love the chance to review your book. I received your Loom Knitting Primer for Christmas and am enthralled. I have also had the chance to try your cable scarf pattern and I loved that. A whole book of patterns like that **swoon**.

Ooh ooh I would LOVE to participate. My blog is looming and needle knitting.

Sorry about being down. Try to smile and breathe....*Super BIG hugs*

Amy

Isela, I am DYING to have your book. Not begging, here. Just letting you know that if I don't make your list of 10 then I will be purchasing it anyway in the next month when we get our income tax refunds! :D
As for your DVD player...what is up with those things?! Mine has decided that it just won't come on periodically, then we have to move the TV and everything to get behind the entertainment center to unplug it and plug it back up and *POOF* it works again. I hope that you can get a fix somehow w/out spending a gazillion dollars. ((HUGS))

Hey Isela, I am just starting to really get in to loom knitting and have been looking all over the valley here trying to find a copy of your Loom Knitting Primer book. I have called every book store in Idaho and I called Barnes and Noble in Boise on Friday and they assured me they had one copy left. I drove 20 miles just to get there and they didn't have any!! It is back ordered everywhere too. So FINALLY the guy at B&N ordered me one through the store and it should be here this week! I added your blog on mine as a favorite link. I would love to have a copy of your new book. I am planning on starting a knitting group here in Idaho and will promote your books! Thanks for your inspiration :)
