My name is Isela and I am known in blogland as the PurlingSprite. I live in Cache Valley, Utah a gorgeous area that is surrounded by mountains on every side. We have two wonderful children, Wonderboy and Little Benny.

PurlingSprite.com was born in an effort to keep track of my knitting adventures, then it evolved to include anecdotes of my daily life, such as family life, cycling, running, and my swimming. Lately, it has included more of the latter rather than the knitting. Although knitting is still part of my life, outdoor activities have become more enticing than sitting on a chair knitting the hours away. The outdoors beckons and I hear its call!

I guess there will be loom knitting here too. I used to loom knit quite a bit and I have a few tutorials, patterns, and instructions. You can find these on the side bar of my blog. I still loom here and there but not as much.
