Sad day for Fantasy readers
September 17, 2007
Robert Jordan, grand author/creator of the Wheel of Times series has left us. His stories are some of my favorites in this genre. I am currently reading/listening to the 11th book in this series. He was writing the 12th book.
You will be missed. I will cherish your books and read them and re-read them as the years go by. Thank you for making my imagination take flight with your words.
I can't believe it! My husband and I have read many of the Wheel of Time series and enjoyed them. That's so young, too young.

I heard that earlier this morning- such a shame and a loss for fantasy readers indeed. I do think the last book will come out though as I heard he'd shared his plot for the final book with his family.

That makes me sad. I was on book 7 reading it the old fashion way.

That's awful. I love his books.

My college roommate really likes Robert Jordan, so I was devastated on her behalf earlier today when I heard the news. I figured I'd start reading him when he got around to finishing the series; I guess I'd better not wait for that now, eh?
